Can you remove both microdrives completely and does the QL work ok without them?

Gah I couldn't get that Beyond to unzip on my QL as it's within a directory?

Unipped it out the folder first on PC and it ran fine

That's a good point, I think at some point a disk image archive of QL Software would be a good idea even just for preservation. Some of the media now is getting on in age.

I have got the newer version but it's possible I got my floppies mixed up

Cheers for the guide, if you write the files to floppy from within an emulator will they still work ok? When I was adding some extra dats to a QL Floppy I'm sure it stripped my zip adventure intepreter because I had to overwrite it with a working copy due to bad parameter errors. Could anyone do a little guide on how the file headers get stripped when using windows or emulators? It's something I've been a bit wary of? Surely from the way I probably mis-see it but will some programs not work in an emulator due to the host machine stripping the file info?

Ah that RGB board supports monitor mode on a VGA monitor or tv with a VGA socket.
