Re: 68K/OS "ROM" based disk attempt
I see on a German forum that user Medusa has tried to use the ROM Disk image on an actual eprom (I assume this as she was going to attempt it and I know it works in q-emulator) without success What would I need to be able to burn my own eeproms for the 68K board and other general QL stuff (like FDC'...

Re: Memory IC's for PCML Q+?
I only have 3 'fresh' ones, pulled from sockets. I do however have some PC SIMM sticks with 8 each on them.... if you fancy de-soldering (probably not)! 2 of those, so 16 chips, for £10. Hi Chr$ Don’t really fancy de-soldering so will leave it for now, thanks though Have found some on eBay for a re...

Re: MicroP Controller with Minerva Issue
Hi tofro,
I’ll try the Minerva ROM, when I have it spare, in the JM QL where it does work which I assume will resolve the conundrum?
Thanks
Tony

Re: Memory IC's for PCML Q+?
see https://www.qlforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=4453 If your PAL is the RAM version it could do with being copied, over the years a few people have wanted this for 0K boards. Thanks. If I can find some chips, and it works, I'm happy to try and copy the PAL (assuming no copyright issues...) I've no id...

Memory IC's for PCML Q+?
I have one final FDC problem I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of replacement memory IC's for a "PCML Q+ Floppy Controller" please? The FDC I've picked up works ok (on a BBQL) but has no memory fitted in the 8 sockets (the whole board is socketed, so I won't need to...

Re: MicroP Controller with Minerva Issue
I remember that I once had a QL that if I plugged a MicroP floppy interface, and an Miracle expander RAM into. The QL would not work. Either card on its own, and everything was OK. I don't remember if Minerva was involved or not. I did not investigate it much, I think I just mixed and matched inter...
