Which firmware has the MicroP controller, the original (with FDK device rather than FLP) or the replacement QJump?

Don’t think so

Can’t see any bent pins and all my other floppy controllers (various manufacturers) and other expansion boards are working fine in the Minerva QL

Yes

The only possibility I can think if is if your Minverva also has TK2, and the floppy interface is set for the ROM port address... I have a MicroP Floppy Controller that works ok on a QL with JM ROM fitted but on my main Minerva 1.98a1 QL it doesn't work Initially I got a load of code coming up behind the Minerva boot screen so I cleaned the connector and now at the boot screen I just start to get random corruption at the very ...

I had a spare mdv cable so I decided to sacrifice it

Tried doing the capture but only got signal on 1 channel

After a bit of testing I’ve found one of the hook cables I was using has no continuity

Will try again this weekend with a different cable
