Re: Lunar lander and UDG generally
Thanks for your help, this isn't my code, and I'm not familiar with the tk2 commands.
Having a go though.
When you say font size you mean the size of the data in the data statements?
11*9 bytes, + 2 bytes in the initial data statement, so the frontsize is 808 maybe

Lunar lander and UDG generally
I ran Lunar lander using a SGC on a bbql. The udg routine doesn't work, but not sure why? Actually this picture isn't helpful. Essentially the udgs are coloured letters rather than a lunar lander! IMG_20240316_104545.jpg Here is the udg routine... IMG_20240316_104712.jpg Not sure what is wrong. Can ...

Re: QL2k speed change
Hi guys.. It's great to know someone is working on qlay3, as it is a very nice emulator, apart from my issues. I realised today that I had installed qemulator ages ago, and it is serval versions behind. I also discovered that the latest free version actually can make use of qlay MDv format. The old ...

Re: QL2k speed change
Eventually got the Josiah Oobadiah .MDV image . This was the one game I managed to play!!! lol I managed to get is working reasonably well with QLAY on win 10. OK- the main issues was I thought it was me doing something wrong, or that I have corrupted copies of the MDVs. Now I understand it might n...

Re: QL2k speed change
I tried a game called space pods, for which I have a QLAY mdv file. The game loads at a normal speed, and everything seems good. But when the game starts it runs so fast that I die in the blink of an eye and its game over. I am now using QLAY2 on windows 10. Super basic is running fine, and at the n...

Re: QL2k speed change
I'm assuming you have been through the QL2K speed settings, using the FT_bas program supplied, and set the speed setting in the clock multiplier box in the startup dialogue of QL2K? Many QL games use the equivalent of the KEYROW command to read keyboard (to allow combination key presses), so there ...
