Re: QIMSI

Could you provide a link, please? I see PTH on Dilwyn's site ( https://dilwyn.qlforum.co.uk/tk/pth.zip ) but it does not seem to include a commandline history extension. Nope! The "history device" is not from Phil Borman but from Boris Jaubith, Berlin (friend of mine). You will find it on...

Re: Most probably the smallest "QL" ever!

Picture of the smallest PC I could find I to make an interpretation of the QL Wafer. This is no small QL, cause it does not have a display. What I heave meant is a fully working QL (emulator) with keyboard and display. The GPDs are GREAT! I love mine, even Visual Studio (nearly full) has now been i...

Re: QIMSI

Alos look at PTH, which is a Path search extension, all very flexible. This is IMHO the BEST file utility ever. It's one of the first things I install. Would be a good improvement for QPC2. HISTORY-Device (first implemented by Boris Jakubith, Berlin), Named Pipes (first implementation I know of: Er...

Re: Most probably the smallest "QL" ever!

Because of the GPD Pockets which are only available with English (US) keyboard layout. I have now created an EN-US-DE (IBM) keyboard layout. The Umlauts are on [{]}\~... If you install it as a second keyboard in Windows, you can switch between EN-US and my EN-US-DE with Alt-Shift (description how to...

Re: Most probably the smallest "QL" ever!

BTW: It's a GPD Pocket 2

which is unfortunately no more available (except used on the bay).

I think it's more sexy than the the GPD 3.

The "3" is about one inch longer, so he doesn't really fit into a suit pocket.

Most probably the smallest "QL" ever!

Sorry, not much time, but I want to show it to you. Much thanks to Marcel Kilgus, who finally have nearly all Minerva Goodies built into QPC2, without it (QPC2) the following would not be possible: Img_20240305_020252_DRO.jpg p.s.: The biggest problem to install it, was to find the source file on my...

Problem on THIS site

As I just have written a new article (here), I have detected: If you read the article from the same IP multiple times, the read counter of the article in the forum is increased. At least in PHP it's possible to ignore accesses from the same IP in one session or at a distinct time (say 1 minute or so...

C++ Initialised Static (Class) Variables with Source and Explanation

Believe it or not, it's not possible in C++ before version 17 (inline). But you can simulate it (I think, this should have had worked even in the first versions C++). Proud to present a new article on my homepage ([at least] currently only available in English): http://peter-sulzer.bplaced.net/htdoc...
