Re: EASYEXT (famous XJ command) from EASYPTR from Albin Hessler
I have now had a look on Marcel's page for EASYPTR. It seems "easyext_res" is included in his package, also renamed to "easyext_cde". But I couldn't find a documentation for it. So I have translated the most important parts (especially all SuperBASIC extensions) from the original...

Re: MicroEmacs and other editors (except QD)
Yes uE is an absolute superb Editor, I have used it a lot at Windows 3.1 times on Windows (at this time there was unfotunately no QL version available). But I have forgotten the most commands. For normal tasks (I have no QD licence) I now use SEDIT, cause it seems to be the only free editor (besides...

Re: MicroEmacs and other editors (except QD)
Nice to know, as for small tasks it is better suited than the (Micro?)Emacs monster.
But it seems CTRL-F4 isn't documented, so my false assumption.
Cheers Peter

MicroEmacs and other editors (except QD)
One drawback of QDOS, QPC2, ... is, that there is no freeware editor. QD-Demo delivered with QPC2 can only read files, but "Saving files" is disabled. I have tried some other editors, Ralfs SEDIT works as does Master_Spy. But they all have one drawback on QPC2 with a high resolution: They ...

Re: EASYEXT (famous XJ command) from EASYPTR from Albin Hessler
Yeah! That are good news :-) Superb piece of software. But are you sure, you haven't done the C-Lib? I have the original manual, and there is a chapter EASYPTR3 which is thought for C programmers. It has the same layout as the other stuff (except it is in English, the rest like SuperBASIC extensions...

EASYEXT (famous XJ command) from EASYPTR from Albin Hessler
I',m a legal owner of EASYPTR (full version inclusive C-Library). One of the most interesting things in this software package is the SuperBASIC extension EASYEXT_RES. I want to ask if at least this usefull peace of code may be published freely, because it has the extremly usefull XJ and RXJ commands...

Solved: QPC2/SMSQ: Isn'nt there no more EDIT command?
Is there no EDIT command in SBASIC which allows (as on an original QL) to edit a line in channel #0 of the SuperBASIC Interpreter. If I enter EDIT or EDIT linenumber, the TK2-Screen-Editor is started. How can I edit a line in channel #0, so that I can make a command from a S(uper)BASIC line? I have ...

Re: charConvert a char conversion prog for Windows
Archives of charConvert were corrected on my website. There was a typo in winToQdos.ini which unfortunately destroyed SuperBASIC programs. Every ':' was replaced with an õ. It is not necessary to download the archives, you can correct the typo yourself in the file "winToQdos.ini". Replace ...

Re: QPC2: How to set/change medium name for WINn_ ?
Wow! I wonder that my message has so much answers. But my intention was:
Is there really no S(uper)BASIC command (or similar), with which you can set the medium name. Like:
SET_MED_NAME "DEV-name" , "MED-Name"
