How to inhibit printing top-row of fonts...
Hi everyone As part of my Scalextric lap-counter/timer project, I've designed some simple font/fount characters for the 7-segment digit display. To get the larger sizes for the digits that I wanted, each segment is composed of several 'UDG' characters that need to be lined up adjacent to one-another...

Re: The winter has returned, as has the QL
And I will be completing the Lap Timer/Counter for my son's Scalextric - attached to Hermes spare ports and some simple electronics - almost done :-) And then... to start in earnest on a Serial to QNET adapter and the associated TKII/FSERVE software adaptations to allow non-QL hardware (e.g. QPC on ...

Re: Sandy Electronics...
Hi Dave
Good luck with the 'new' venture!
Meanwhile, I too would love to get my hands on a batch of pads, once you've satisfied yourself of their quality!
Do let us know when/where we can order them (SMR?)

I must also add how great Rich's service has been - both in shipping parts as well as time and care over the phone!
Thanks for helping re-ignite my passion for the QL!

Good luck, Dave!
You can always tell that a decision was the 'right one' on how relieved you feel having made it.
Thanks for your work to-date!
(Still hankering after the SuperRAM, though!)

Is SERNET still available?
Hi everyone Following a chat session with some of the forum members this evening, I thought to post this query around the availability of SERNET. Having acquired a BBQL recently and hacked it to bits already - having lots of fun in the process - I wanted to explore filesharing between QPC2 on my lap...

Wanted: At least 256K memory & Minerva MKII
Hi everyone
Having spent the last few years QLing (happily) in QPC2, I have acquired a basic black-box QL and am looking to expand it with at least 256k memory expansion and the Minerva MKII (with the !2C interface).
Anyone?
