Hi
Don't know much about pistorm on Amiga but it's possible that the kickrom and disk image here https://www.qlforum.co.uk/download/file.php?id=7347 would work to get qdos classic going. No idea if the qubide disk image would work with hdf2emu68 though.

Re: How to run QPC2 in Wine/Crossover on Apple Silicon Macs
Hi tofro,
I can confirm that this works on QPC II 5.02 under Win 7 emulation within Whisky on a 14-inch 2021 M1 MacBook Pro running MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1
Many Thanks!

Re: QL Survival Pack (in Spanish)
Hi Jbizzel, Yes, a really good read. I remember a couple of years ago falling foul of the Catch 22 zip issue that you mention. I believe it was this Zip as a Basic program that initially came in handy. It caught me by surprise to see my spinning head from the QL World competition in the demo section...

Re: QDOS on Google TV walkthrough
As a footnote I should add...
CTRL-Space is ignored on Android, so I have mapped in ALT-Space as a break combination.
And on other Android devices, you can download and install RetroArch from the Play Store then start from step 3.

QDOS on Google TV walkthrough
Hi all This is a walk-through of how to run QDOS on a "Chromecast with Google TV". In this setup, I make use of the Amiga (PUAE) emulator within RetroArch and a QDOS Classic kickstart ROM for UAE. Setup is quite a lengthy process, so I thought it was worth documenting. These are the steps:...

Re: QDOS on Wii walkthrough
Thanks all, I got past the DOSBox_Wii error with QPC1 by adding this to dosbox.conf ems=false xms=false However after a long delay SMSQ/E hangs mid-way through drawing the initial screen. Maybe the Wii isn't as good as an Android tablet when handling double emulation, i.e. emulating a x86 emulating ...

Re: QDOS on Wii walkthrough
Hi Martyn, I haven't tried anything involving the pointer environment, so I'm not sure how that will react. Look forward to any feedback. I had hoped to also show QPC1 running on top of DOSBox_Wii. However QPC exits at initialisation with the error /INT15 fehlt oder ist <1 MB! which is a shame. A qu...

Hi all This is a walk-through of how to run QDOS on a Nintendo Wii. Hopefully its of interest and hopefully I haven't forgotten anything. These are the steps: 1. Get the MAC address of the Wii 2. Install Homebrew. Note, this is not risk free . 3. Install UAE Wii and QDOS Classic If you already have ...

Re: New QL fonts
Hi, No worries. Splitting the font file into two makes the font more accessble. I believe 963 bytes is the size of the zip file. When unzipped the font is 2306 bytes. Yes, it's a while ago but I remember modifying the 8x8 font to fit the QL font size. Also the PET graphic characters are meant to but...
