I did write an IPC emulation once... 20 years ago. I've switched QPC to SMSQ/E before finishing SER etc., but the keyboard did work. Any particular question? It's a fairly simple bit-banging protocol.

Check out the "fusechid" function, it converts the QDOS handle to a FILE* pointer in order to use the C-lib functions on QDOS channels.

Or has Jochen not counted them from 1 upwards? I have no idea what kind of numbering system Jochen used, but the numbers are...
